24 hours in Denver Colorado

I was recently able to spend 24 hours in downtown Denver. We were originally scheduled to see Disney's The Lion King Broadway show, but due to a COVID outbreak in the company it was cancelled. Rather than call the whole thing off we decided to keep our hotel and go out to dinner and just have fun exploring downtown Denver a little.

Our first stop was our hotel, the Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel. Check in was seamless and the valet parking option was a lifesaver. We had a standard room with a slight view of the 16th Street Mall.

Once we were settled my very brave travel partner decided she wanted to go for a swim at the hotels outdoor pool. Mind you it was 36 degrees out at the time! She stayed out there for almost 30 minutes and had a great time swimming! The hotel has a very nice rooftop pool area which includes a few cabanas that you can rent during the warmer months. There was also a gaming area and lounge which is great for hanging out in while the kids swim!

This was a very nice hotel in the downtown Denver area and I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Overall, we had a wonderful time exploring the city! Riding the free 16th street mall bus from end to end. Checking out local shops, restaurants and even Denver's Union Station. There are so many great things to see and do in Denver! IF you are planning a trip to Colorado give us a call we would love to assist you with all the details of your vacation and even point out some of our favorite spots!!

My goal this year is to explore more of the Front Range and other area in Colorado and share with you everything I love about our home. Have a spot you want me to feature, let me know!
